The Sisters of MCF
The sisters of MCF have origins from all over the world and have come together in Folsom to form an active, tight-knit group centered around faith, education, volunteerism, and community building.
For the sisters, our Islamic faith is central to life and family.

The Future of Women at MCF
Our goal is to empower our mothers, sisters, and daughters to become thoughtful, independent women and to have a voice in society.
We encourage taking an active role at MCF through volunteerism and offering suggestions and criticism so we can better serve our community.
Serving the Community
Although MCF is centered around the Islamic religious tradition, our community serves a vast array of community needs.
- Refugee assistance
- Cook for and serve as attendants for our homeless shelter
- From organizing potlucks and vaccinations clinics to decorating the masjid and camping out with the Cub Scouts, our women do it all.
- Organization is key! Our ladies organize the common spaces in the masjid and organize speakers and events too.
- Serve as den leader for Cub Scouts, Eid bazaars, masjid clean up days, festival games, and crafts.
