Last week, MCF board members met with their counterparts from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to discuss ways in which the two organizations can work together to provide services that benefit the Folsom community.
As part of MCF’s ongoing mission of community outreach, board members discussed many of the similar beliefs between Islam and the Church’s teachings and how Muslims and Mormons both share a strong desire to serve and help those in need. Insha’Allah, this meeting will serve as the beginning of a long and enduring friendship with our Mormon neighbors.
