Ramadan Quran Competition

MCF is pleased to announce its first-ever Ramadan Quran Competition, which aims to encourage community members of all ages to learn and memorize the Quran.
The competition will be held on Sunday, April 9th, 2023. The exact timings and further details will be announced soon.
Contestants will be graded on three categories: Pronunciation of letters, Memorization, and Tajweed.
Below are the levels for the competition separated for boys and girls, and men and women. (Women in Levels 2-4 will recite to women-only judges)

Level 1: Boys and Girls: Ages 5 – 8
Surah: Al Fajr
Prizes:
First Place – $50
Second Place – $25
Participation reward for all

Level 2: Boys and Girls: Ages 9 – 13
Surah: Surat Al Mulk
Prizes:
First place boys – $100
First place girls – $100
Second place boys – $50
Second place girls – $50

Level 3: Boys and Girls: Ages 14 – 18
Surah: Surah Waqiah
Prizes:
First Place boys – $125
First place girls – $125
Second place boys – $60
Second place girls – $60

Level 4: Adults (Brothers and Sisters) Ages 18+
Surah: Surah Al Mujadila
Prizes:
First Place Brothers – $50 Gift card to the restaurant of choice.
First Place Sister – $50 Gift Card to the restaurant of choice

Level 5: Hufath (Brothers and Sisters, any age)
We will randomly be picking from the whole Quran
Prizes:
First place – $500
Second Place – $250
