To establish an active Masjid, adhering to Islamic principles, with a welcoming environment, high-quality services, a platform for community engagement, and ideas to flourish that bring benefits to Muslims and our wider communities.
Our Background
MCF was established to bring Muslim lifestyle values to the Folsom and surrounding Sacramento area.
The Muslim Community of Folsom (MCF) started in 2011 with the intent of fostering a thriving community based on Muslim values like spirituality, service, humility, modesty, knowledge, family, unity, harmony, justice, and creating a better society. Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest Islamic centers in the Sacramento Valley, with a diverse community of more than 500 families from all walks of life and areas of the world.
As a Mosque
We provide year-round religious services and educational/spiritual programming for Muslims (and those seeking to learn about Islam), as well as addressing the religious needs of the community from birth to celebrating weddings to honoring final rites. We also provide a social hub to build relationships between Muslim individuals, families, and organizations.
But we do more. Much more.
From community service to outreach and advocacy, interfaith bridge-building, the celebration of culture and the arts, protecting the environment, and beyond. We invite you to learn more about MCF online, or visit us in person, and become a part of our dynamic community!
Our Leadership
As a non-profit organization, MCF is grateful to the volunteer Executive Committee and Women's Committee, which oversee all day-to-day operations, programs, and services that MCF offers.
The Board of Trustees assists in MCF's long-term vision and expansion and provides. The Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, and Imam are identified below.
